Kailah Collins, a sixth grader at Gompers Elementary-Middle School, was named the Grand Award winner of the 2016 Science and Engineering Fair of Metropolitan Detroit!
Collins along with her teacher Melissa Goins (who leads the Gompers DAPCEP team) attended the DAPCEP Gold Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 26 at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
